SpanishTech offers computer and software training for the novice to expert user in both English and Spanish.

Basic Computer training consists of how to:

• Use a computer and associated equipment
• Troubleshoot
• Set up peripherals (printer, fax, scanner, cameras, etc.)
• Install software
• Back up files
• Secure the computer and files
• Learn best computer use practices

Training in popular software packages consists of:

• Using the Internet (web browsers, email, FTP, search engines)
• Microsoft (office productivity)
• Adobe (web site and graphic design)
• Macromedia (web site and graphic design)
• Intuit (small business accounting)
• File Maker (simple database)
• Star Office (free Linux office productivity tools)

Troubleshooting and Repair

SpanishTech provides assistance with troubleshooting computer hardware or software issues. We work with multiple platforms, Including Macintosh, OSX, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 / Server / Advanced Server, Windows XP and LINUX. (On site service / visits or pick up and deliver)

Hardware Upgrades

SpanishTech consults on hardware upgrades to determine the most cost effective performance enhancement; upgrading existing hardware components or complete computer replacement. Hardware upgrades include hard disk drive, video cards, network cards, ram/memory, motherboards, CPUs, monitors, etc.

Networking planning and installation

We plan and install small networks at small business sites, or at work at home offices.

Our networks services range from basic Internet connection sharing, routing and firewalls, remote D-bases, file and printer sharing, etc.
